Pre-Purchase Building & Pest
A pre-purchase building & pest Inspection is undertaken by the prospective purchaser of a property, usually once a contract has been signed. It will give you a written account of the condition of the property, uncovering any significant building defects or problems such as termites, borers and fungal decay.
The building and pest inspection is a visual appraisal of the condition of the property. Its purpose is to identify existing issues, defects or areas of concern. This inspection is carried out in accordance with the Australian Standard 4349, by our qualified licensed building and pest inspector.
Pre-Sale/Auction Building & Pest Inspection
Like a pre-purchase inspection covering building defects, termites, borers and fungal decay. Pre-sale building and pest inspections are undertaken by sellers who want to know the condition .
By providing a building and pest inspection report to buyers upfront, it removes the need for inclusion in the contract and helps with a faster, smoother property sale.
Handovers / Pre-Settlements
A pre-handover inspection is the last chance you will get to see if the workmanship to your new home is up to scratch. Once you hand over the final payment, your ability to have problems or imperfections rectified in a timely manner may not be a priority for your Builder.
Our inspections conform to the Australian Standards AS 4349.1, and our qualified and fully licensed inspectors will provide you with quality advice and expert opinion in terms you can understand.
Pool Safety Inspection
If you are purchasing a property with a pool that doesn’t have a current Pool Safety Certificate (Form 23), you will need to obtain one within 90 days of settlement. If you are leasing, the Pool Safety Certificate must be provided before entering into the accommodation agreement. Pool Safety Certificates for non-shared pools are valid for 2 years, and Certificates for shared pools are valid for 1 year.
